About

I’m a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and graphic designer currently living in Santa Monica, CA. I suppose I’ll borrow a moniker coined by Gram Parsons and describe my music as Cosmic American Music: a mixture of folk, rock, country, soul and rhythm and blues… taken to their logical extensions given that I’m working some 40 years after Mr. Parsons. My main influences are: The Beatles, The Band, Neil Young, Wilco, The Byrds, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Fleet Foxes, Tom Petty and The Beach Boys. I seek out colorful harmonies, impressionistic and introspective lyrics, chimey guitars, ambient noises and feedback, and whatever sounds true. My solo works fall right in line with these descriptions; Plastic Villains provide the bluesier, hard rock portion of my tastes; Wolfram Union ventures into the experimental; Mango Muffs is punk that’s a sonic kick to the crotch; and the collaborations provide forays into hip-hop and covering famous musical works. Music to me is amoebic: my influences and desires change daily, thus my music takes the approach of embracing this fluidity all the while providing the stability of the sonic tenets I set forth above. Enjoy!

Peace & Love
